Our Sunday Gathering
Our church family gathers every
Sunday morning at 8:55 am.
We are currently renting
St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church
(131 Walton Street, Port Hope)
For directions click here.
Sunday mornings are the time when we gather together to declare our love for God and the hope we have in Jesus. These gatherings are just one part of what it means to be the church, as the main driving force of Hope Community Church is relationships: relationship with God in worship and prayer, relationship with each other in Life Groups and relationship with our community through being involved in our town. Whatever your background, come as you are, we would love for you to join us!
Where Should I Park?
You can park in the parking lot behind the Presbyterian Church located off of Pine Street South. We also have access to the Loyalist College Parking lot which is located right across the street from the church parking lot. There is accessibility parking right in front of the church on Walton Street.
What Are The Services Like?
Our Sunday services last about an hour and feature contemporary worship music, prayer, and a Bible-centred message that’s both engaging and practical. Once a month, we also share in communion together as a church family.
What Should I Wear?
Some people will be more dressed up and others will be in jeans and a t-shirt. Come as you are and know that you are welcome!
What About My Kids?
Nursery is provided for the entire service up to age 3 and is located downstairs. Kids ages 4 to grade 4 join us for the beginning of the church service and then are dismissed to the Kids Ministry Space for a Bible lesson, prayer and a craft. For more information, check out our Kids Ministry Page.
Join Us After The Service
After the service we gather together downstairs for coffee and refreshments. This is a great time to get to know each other.
