Lead Pastor
Ben grew up in Southwestern Ontario with 3 brothers. His dad and grandfather were also Pastors. In high school Ben felt a call from God to go into ministry. He studied at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and began his ministry as a Youth Pastor in Cobourg in 2007. He is passionate about God’s Word and pointing people to the hope found in Jesus. Ben enjoys football, camping and really good coffee.
Ben and his wife Naomi were married in 2011 and have lived in Port Hope for most of that time. Naomi is a third generation Port Hoper and has been instrumental in Ben’s understanding and growing love for the town. You will often find Ben and Naomi walking around town with their son, Charlie, and their golden retriever Gennie.
