Can we trust that the Bible we have today is truly God's Word?
Join Dr. Susan Schmidt for a fascinating journey as we explore how the Bible was written, copied, preserved, and passed down through the centuries. Discover how ancient scribes carefully protected the accuracy of the biblical text, how the books of the Bible came to be recognized as Scripture, and why we can have confidence in the Bible we read today.
Drawing on her travels throughout Israel and the ancient lands of the Bible, Susan will share firsthand insights from her visit to St. Petersburg, Russia, where she examined the Leningrad Codex—the oldest complete copy of the Hebrew Old Testament and one of the most important manuscripts behind our modern Bibles.
This engaging presentation will bring the history of the Bible to life and help you better understand why Christians trust the Bible's reliability and accuracy.
